Note from the ACDIS Editor | Happy June! | by Carolyn Riel I know that summer doesn’t officially begin for a few more weeks, but June always feels like the unofficial start of summer. It’s when the weather really starts to stay consistently warm in New England, the sun is up later into the evening, restaurants switch over to their summer food and cocktail specials, and it just gives you an overall feeling of, “yes, summer is here!” Truthfully, summer isn’t my favorite season like it seems to be for many people. I’ll take a mild New Hampshire fall day more often than I’d prefer a hot beach day (don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy both). But there’s something about rainy, gloomy spring finally going away and welcoming warmer sunny weather that’s just good for your soul. |
