All part of the Brentford Canal Festival, taking place this Saturday. Entry to the event, organised by Brentford Voice, is free. It's a family-friendly day out, with market stalls to browse (including that floating market on the water), plenty of food and drink pop-ups to keep everyone fed, and a classic and supercar boot sale, where you can check out some seriously impressive vehicles while shopping for vintage clothing, automobilia, artwork, and vinyls. Fancy getting even closer to the water? Take part in a (free!) kayaking session. Brentford local? Lucky you — the action's right on your doorstep! Not familiar with the area? The whole event, including those six live music stages dotted around local spaces, offers the perfect opportunity to get out and explore a brand new part of London — an ideal way to spend a Saturday afternoon, if you ask us. The Brentford Canal Festival takes place Saturday 21 June 2025, 12pm-6pm. It’s free to attend and does not require a ticket, however visitors can register their interest via Eventbrite.
