Dear John Do,
Hamburg is a global hub and one of the most important logistics centres in northern Europe between Central and Eastern Europe and the entire Baltic Sea region. The logistics sector consists of a good 11,000 companies with around 89,000 employees. And the sector has not been left unscathed by the current economic downturn. We spoke to Prof. Hanno Friedrich, Associate Professor at Kühne Logistics University about risks and opportunities, startups and the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel.

In other news, IFB Hamburg is lending financial support to a feasibility study on diving drones, HWWI probes Hamburg's progress towards 2040 strategy and a food startup in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region has received millions in funding for mycoproteins.

Sincerely,
