Hamburg is increasingly attractive as a centre of innovation for startups despite a tough, crisis-torn year 2020. The total of new startups came to 218 last year - ten more than in 2019. New business models are emerging mainly in software, e-commerce and in the food and medical sectors. And 2021 is off to a promising start with five new startups.
