Quantum computers perform complex simulations in seconds making them ideal for use in medicine or logistics. Research into the potentially revolutionary technology is in full swing all over the world and Hamburg is no exception. The senate is investing more than EUR 25 million to boost Hamburg as a quantum computing centre and the Hamburg Quantum Innovation Capital (HQIC) aims to advance this forward-looking technology.
