But Lewis stung by engine change penalty
I’m not sure that the Formula 1 World Championship needed another twist like Lewis Hamilton’s engine change in Brazil, but perhaps it’s only fair given Max Verstappen’s grid penalty in Russia for similar reasons. Hamilton will start on pole at Interlagos for Saturday’s sprint race, as his grid penalty won’t take effect until Sunday’s Grand Prix proper. Red Bull’s Christian Horner says that “doesn’t change anything for us” – although he must realise that Lewis and Max have clashed in both of the Grands Prix that have followed the new sprint format this year.
