  • A former Bangor priest who was the spiritual adviser to a Hampden woman allegedly slain by her brother-in-law is expected to testify at the brother-in-law’s trial. But the contents of the victim’s diary that the priest urged her to keep most likely won’t be introduced as evidence.
Regulators approve dramatic rate cut for Emera Maine customers
  • Some Emera Maine customers will be pleased when they open their electric bills next year to see a lower amount due.

    Emera Maine’s Bangor Hydro district customers can expect an average residential bill to decrease about 8.4 percent. That compares to an increase of 6.5 percent in 2019, including supply and delivery service.
