DINOSAUR HUNTER: There’s a new candidate for Louisiana governor in this fall’s election, a lawyer, former diplomat and rookie state representative who announced his bid in a video that took aim at politicians “who are stuck in the past” and depicted them as dinosaurs roaming the Capitol.
HER HONOR: New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell rebuffed questions about allegations in a divorce petition that she had an affair with a police officer on her security detail, describing those and other allegations around her relationship with officer Jeffrey Vappie as “false,” sexist and baseless.
