So here are ways to make the week feel shorter.

Hey everyone, happy Monday.

Okay, but why does January feel like it’s been going on for 75 days?

We all know that the first month of the year is 31 days long... just like six other months on the calendar. But while July is summer holiday time and December is busy season, January always feels like it lasts an eternity.

The good news? We're almost through it (with just five days to go).

More good news? There's literally something to do every single day this week to make it go faster. Time flies when you're having fun, no?

Start the week off strong by going to the Green Day concert tonight. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will be performing for the first time ever in the Middle East at Expo City.

Then chill out on Tuesday by doing a little bit of stargazing. From now until Saturday February 1, you'll be able to see a lot of planets in the night sky at the same time.

Break the week up on Wednesday with a Chinese New Year celebration. It's the year of the snake after all.

On Thursday, treat yourself to one of the best steaks in town at Prime68, which has just extended its early bird offer to start at 5.30pm (all so you can catch the sunset).

And finally, end your week on a high with a lot of laughter, as Simon Brodkin takes the stage at the QE2 theatre.

And just like that... it'll be February.
