| Last Sunday, 26 May, the 6th BBGV Football tournament for Charity took place at the PVF Football Academy in Hung Yen province.
16 teams participated:

Over 200 players and supporters came along with their strong determination and sporting spirit. The PVF Football Academy is some 20km from Hanoi centre and the heat of 35-degrees did not put anyone off playing in what is one of the most modern football academy in Southeast Asia.
Perspiration was pouring off everyone but it was still good to see the wide smiles on red faces of the participants.
British International School was the champion of the tournament and earned the title “Winner of the Championship League”, British University Vietnam came second as the runner – up of the Championship League. In Euro-Asia League, Deloitte were the winners and Coats Phong Phu were the runner -up. Though in the spirit of the game, all of the players were winners, as they played with their hearts and to raise funds for charity. More than VND 200 million was raised which will go towards building a kindergarten for the ethnic children in Dien Bien Province.
