JEWISH • INDEPENDENT • NONPROFIT Dear Reader,
We’ve arrived at another Thanksgiving. What a year we’ve had!
When I look back at Thanksgiving 2019, or even Thanksgiving 2020, it feels like reflecting on an entirely different world. A lot has changed over the past two years — we’ve had so many challenges, have adapted in many ways, and mourned what we’ve lost.
But we’ve also had so many opportunities to grow, and none of that would have been possible without the support of our readers. You've had a front row seat every day as history is made and chronicled in the stories we get to tell, such as that of a Jewish QAnon supporter, or the Surfside tragedy. This year, we deepened our storytelling and had a greater impact than ever.
We also started new programs, hosted events, and created new opportunities for connection and community-building, like our event about Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen earlier this month.
Today, as we gather with our loved ones virtually and in person to celebrate, reflect, and of course eat delicious food, I want to extend my gratitude to you. Thank you for making the Forward’s work possible—by reading, sharing, emailing, commenting, and all the other ways you connect and engage.
Warmly and with gratitude, Rachel Fishman Feddersen CEO and Publisher The Forward 125 Maiden Ln. New York, NY 10038 |
