Fire Crews Knock Down Attic Fire in Chatsworth

An attic fire at a home in Chatsworth was extinguished by firefighters Tuesday. Firefighters responded at 4:05 a.m. to 7760 N. Independence Ave. where they began a rooftop ventilation operation to battle the flames inside the attic, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange. Average LA County Gas Price Drops to Lowest Amount Since October 2021

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County resumed decreasing Tuesday, dropping 2.1 cents to $4.452, one day after a 38-day streak of decreases ended when it was unchanged.
