Nearly a half a dozen witnesses — including one notable former player — took the stand Thursday in the retrial of Cardell Hayes, the man accused of killing former Saints star defensive end Will Smith eight years ago. But in a couple of cases, witness testimony didn't quite match what they said four years ago, the defense pointed out. Jillian Kramer has the story.
When former Gov. John Bel Edwards left office earlier this month, the state was projected to have $143 million more in revenue than expenses for the upcoming fiscal year. But now Gov.
