Paying into it: The worst internship in NYC

When you’re on the hunt for a job, it’s only natural to turn to job boards like Indeed for prospects. Unfortunately, so many people are looking for work that scammers have plenty of chances to extort money from people. A perfect example is a recent job listing found in New York City for a Data Analyst internship position. While these kinds of jobs are sought-after by recent college graduates seeking career paths, not all of them pay. But this job goes even further by stating its compensation as a “reverse-financed internship.” According to the listing, you have to pay them $15 an hour to work there — and full-time to boot! This means a worker “employed” by this “company” would have to pay $2,400 each month for “exposure” and “experience.” Only in NYC …

Maybe they can hire some rats for the job. The animals are already delivering pizza.
