The longtime Los Angeles home of late actor and comedian Paul Reubens, better known to the world for his hilariously childlike, red bow tie-wearing alter-ego Pee-wee Herman, has come to market not quite a year after the “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” star’s death at age 70. Nestled into a celeb-favored pocket of the Los Feliz neighborhood and priced at $5 million, the fun and funky hilltop residence was built in the 1950s and today features vintage wall coverings, yellow Formica counters in the kitchen and a huge stone fireplace in the living room. Other highlights include a swimming pool and spectacular views that include the Griffith Park Observatory. A 9,000-square-foot contemporary mansion priced at $15.5 million aims to shatter a local sales record as the most expensive home ever sold on New York’s Shelter Island. Facing Coecles Harbor, the eight-bedroom spread sits on 2.2 acres with rolling lawns, a swimming pool and a private dock.
