| Editor's Picks Capping Medicare GME funding at $150,000 per resident could free nearly $1.3 billion that could be used to alleviate physician shortages in underserved areas, a new study in JAMA Internal Medicine suggests. The ACGME requires at least one resident or fellow to be a part of the program evaluation committee (PEC). You may want to start recruiting with the chief residents because they have already committed themselves to a leadership role in the program.
