Have you heard about Materials for Architecture 2018? | | CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FREE | | Returning to the ILEC Conference Centre, London for its second year, the event is the only UK conference and exhibition with such a tightly focused theme of innovation in the development and specification of materials for architecture during the whole construction process, from structures and envelopes to facades and finishes. We have been listening to our visitors, exhibitors and sponsors from Materials 2017 and plan to ensure that our second event brings you more of what you want. Innovation will be at the heart of Materials for Architecture 2018. | | CONFERENCE There is a clear focus across the two days on how construction materials are being innovated to provide better buildings, from sustainable concrete to hardwood CLT, to materials whose properties change in use such as auxetic and phase-change materials. | | EXHIBITION There will be a much greater focus on innovation within the exhibition hall including an Innovation Zone and highly interactive materials display area. | | CPD SEMINARS With a seminar space devoted to obtaining CPD points, talks will be offered free-of-charge with themes including architectural ceramics and brickwork, powder coatings for architectural applications and GRP FRP NBS H41 bespoke fibreglass mouldings and architectural cladding systems. | | EVENING RECEPTION As well as being an informal opportunity to network with other industry professionals over drinks, the evening reception will host a competition focused on young academics and researchers presenting the very latest in materials innovation. Entries will be judged by a panel of leading architects. |
