While outpatient CDI is still in it’s infancy, ACDIS is taking the lead in defining roles, focus, and establishing standards and core competencies, which are covered in this course. The boot camp examines diagnoses impacting hierarchical condition categories (HCCs), record review and query, medical necessity documentation, CDI role in charge capture, and ethics and compliance.
