About the VNTR Project: The UK’s Global Trade Programme (GTP) via Nathan Association UK Ltd is currently supporting the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) in developing a National Trade Repository (NTR) for Viet Nam, in alignment with the ASEAN Trade Repository (ATR). The VNTR will be a free-to-access online information platform that provides all the latest trade regulations and information that businesses need to export and import to and from Viet Nam.
 

About this Survey: The VNTR is scheduled to go live later this year. In order to gather information about current practices and challenges when it comes to accessing information on trade with Vietnam, Nathan Associates UK Ltd would like to take this opportunity to conduct a short survey questionnaire among business stakeholders currently trading or hoping to trade with Viet Nam. Answering the questionnaire should not take more than 2 minutes of your time! The survey is available in bothEnglishand Vietnamese.

• Ensuring compliance with the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA).
• Increasing the level of business compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Increasing the efficiency and speed at which business is transacted and reducing costs.
• Increasing Viet Nam’s competitive advantage in the post-COVID environment.
• Assisting Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and women-led enterprises to harness the business opportunities that stem from cross-border trade.

We are hoping to evaluate responses by end of June 2021. Following this, the VNTR team will be organising a series of focus discussions in June and July, which will provide further opportunities for feeding into the design of the VNTR.
