Hawaiian Electric says lawsuit is ‘factually and legally irresponsible.’ It blames Maui for the tragedy

Hawaiian Electric believes the lawsuit is irresponsible and said it might have to take its own legal action against the county. That news comes as Florida prepares for Hurricane Idalia. Duke Energy Florida (our host utility for DISTRIBUTECH) is mobilizing thousands in advance of potential outages caused by the high winds.  Finally, we have an update to our battery grid management article we ran we few weeks ago.
