Here're some new developments in the world of AI: Geoffrey Hinton, known as 'The Godfather of A.I.," has expressed concern over the potential harm that the technology behind chatbots like ChatGPT could cause. Meanwhile, a recent study by a team of researchers at Johns Hopkins compared physician and AI chatbot responses to patient questions on social media and found that chatbot responses were rated significantly higher for both quality and empathy. This raises the question: As humans continue to trust AI more, how much of a risk do we face? Can simple acts of kindness, like saying "please" to AI chatbots, make a difference in the grand scheme of things?
