| About the Author James Crouch, BSBM, MHA, MSAJS, is safety and regulations specialist for Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is in charge of hazardous waste management in more than 13 hospitals, four urgent care centers, and more than 300 medical clinics in western Michigan. Crouch has worked in healthcare safety for the past 10 years, and has served as the Michigan Region 6 bioterrorism coordinator—a vital role coordinating the activities of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response Hospital Preparedness Program, fostering collaboration, and building relationships with regional partners covering 13 counties. |
