We speak to Tino Chinyani about becoming a dad: 'He brings tears to my eyes when he smiles at me.'

"Hearing him laugh is the sweetest music I've ever heard. Knowing that he's all mine makes me the most blessed man on this planet," says Tino Chinyani about the arrival of his first son with actress Simphiwe Ngema.

In an interview with Channel24 TV personality, Tino spoke about becoming a new dad, and life's most memorable moments.

Tino and Simphiwe first shared their pregnancy news in August but by then the child had already been born because, in another surprise announcement one month later, they revealed that they had welcomed their first child in June

The baby news coincided with the launch of Tino's clothing brand, Tiyani.

About fatherhood, Tino tells Channel24: "For me, it goes beyond personal achievement. This is my legacy and an opportunity to shape him into everything I wanted to be but so much more.

"His life will be beyond my wildest comprehension because I will guide him and mentor him to be a leader of change and hope. His life and presence has changed my life forever."
