In 2023, the Parc national de la Vanoise celebrates its 60th anniversary, providing an opportunity to look back at how far it has come since its inception. ✨  Created in 1963 to combat the disappearance of the ibex, the Parc de la Vanoise was France's first national park.  Today, the main mission of this 535km2 park is to safeguard the landscapes, cultural heritage and, above all, the diversity of animal and plant species (1,400 plant species, 65 of which are protected all the same!). |
