Headed to the governor's inauguration Monday? Here's what to know

Inauguration logistics: Gov.-elect Jeff Landry, other statewide officials, and a slew of state legislators will be sworn in at the State Capitol Monday. Here's what to know about parking and street closures in the area. 


New crime prevention laws? A state task force convened by Landry has recommended that the Legislature make certain juvenile crime records public, Meghan Friedmann reports. Lawmakers will meet in a February session to discuss those and other crime prevention strategies. 


Landry appoints, again: See who Landry has named to head the state Department of Transportation and Development. He's also appointed three new Board of Elementary and Secondary Education members, Friedmann reports.
