Meyvan Hettige, Senior Economic Development Officer, got Brimbank’s Local Jobs for Local People program off to a flying start recently by co-hosting an Employment Expo at the VISY Cares Hub for locals seeking employment at Melbourne Airport .

In addition to the Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) Pty Ltd, other key contractors IKON Services Australia Pty Ltd ISS A/S Programmed Facility Management & Smarte Carte were also in attendance, seeking to connect local jobseekers in areas such as maintenance, cleaning, security and trolley wrangling.
