Mpls. cops seek 2 in connection to Bde Maka Ska pavilion fire
The overnight fire destroyed the well-known pavilion and its restaurant, Lola on the Lake. City fire officials had initially suggested a lightning strike was to blame given the strong storms that moved through the region that night and the descriptions of loud booms heard by neighbors. 
McCollum asks feds to complete study on mining near Boundary Waters
DFL Rep. Betty McCollum wants the federal government to complete a study on the impacts of copper-nickel mining in the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, and forbid any mining activity until its complete.

Kwik Trip veggie trays again linked to salmonella in Wisconsin, Minnesota
Health officials say the Del Monte vegetable trays, which included broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and dill dip, have been linked to salmonella bacteria which has, so far, sickened three people in Wisconsin and one in Minnesota.
