Heavy rain continues to fall around Houston, most of South Texas to stay dry today -- Justin

Good Morning! Imelda's quick formation yesterday will likely keep us dry. When storms become better developed, they tend to have a more concentrated area of rain. The Houston metro area will see that rain, most of South Texas will not. So, we are back to status quo... Expect partly cloudy skies and hot temperatures today. A little added humidity may push heat index values into the upper 90s. Isolated downpours are possible east of I-35 (20% chance). Tomorrow presents a slightly better shot at rain (30%), as the remnants of Imelda shift north. Isolated showers are possible through Saturday. Have a great day!
