Today, the 50th day since President Joe Biden took office, he signed his American Rescue Plan into law.

The American Rescue Plan will send direct relief to Oregonians and Americans all across the country. From $1,400 checks, to extended unemployment insurance, to helping schools reopen safely and cutting in half the number of children who live in poverty, the American Rescue Plan will help us build back better than before.

Not a single Republican voted to support the American Rescue Plan. President Biden signed the bill into law today because YOU helped Democrats win and take control of the House, the Senate, and the White House.

When Republicans had control of government, their signature achievement was a tax giveaway to the richest Americans.

Within 50 days of Democrats taking control, we have delivered urgent and necessary relief for ALL Americans, not just the ultra-wealthy. But our work is far from over.
