Through collection boxes, clothing drives, and Twin Cities residential collection, the DAV MN team schedules pick-ups, deliveries, and distribution to our commercial partners. - Transport to medical appointments. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, DAV MN to transport 19,000 for Minnesota veterans to their medical appointments at Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Centers. Volunteers logged 39,604 hours and 86,776 miles in 2021.
- Access to benefits. Experts across the state assist veterans with the full range of benefits available to them. In 2021, these teams assisted veterans in filing over 2,000 VA benefits claims.
- Healing through nature. DAV MN continues to connect veterans through its Outdoors program, hosting dozens of veterans on multiple excursions last summer and hunting events scheduled this fall
