The Galapagos Crusoes
A limited edition hardback

Help us publish a unique book about the Galapagos, earn yourself a limited-edition signed copy – and play a part in saving a special bird.

In the 1960s, Bryan and June Nelson spent a year studying birds on two uninhabited waterless islands in the Pacific. Enthralled by the account of their experiences in Bryan's book Galapagos: Islands of Birds, Hilary Bradt has been trying to find a way to share this incredible story since the 1980s...

Decades later, we are pleased to announce the upcoming publication of a unique new title Galapagos Crusoes!

Combining Bryan and June's fascinating observations about bird behaviour with stories of the trials and tribulations of a year spent living in the wild, this book is the perfect mix of information and adventure.

To get your hands on a beautifully produced, limited edition hardback signed by June, head to our Crowdfunder page. Only a small number of this hardback edition will be printed. None will be sold through bookshops and once they’re gone, they’re gone!

£10 from each sale will be donated to the Galapagos Conservation Trust in its effort to save the Floreana Mockingbird from extinction. This feisty little bird is found only on a large rock off Floreana island, but today fewer than 300 remain.
