| Hi there, Providing information, support and comfort to men and women across Ireland at every step of their cancer journey, the Marie Keating Foundation’s income has been severely impacted by the cancellation or postponement of all their fundraising events due to COVID-19. The Foundation’s Give Your Coffee for Cancer campaign is an initiative created by the Foundation to help continue their vital cancer support services that they provide to the most vulnerable members of our community at a time where they need them most. Why not get involved by organising a virtual coffee morning with friends or colleagues over Zoom, Skype or Webinar and help raise much needed funds for our Charity Partner, the Marie Keating Foundation. The Marie Keating Foundation has been working tirelessly to respond and adapt their services to continue to provide support and information to those most in need during these uncertain times. As those living with cancer are most vulnerable to COVID-19, the Foundation has transitioned its monthly face to face Positive Living meetings for women living with advanced breast cancer to now run as an online webinar, and are providing daily support and advice to cancer patients and survivors through active WhatsApp groups. The nursing team at the Foundation has been continuing to provide support and information to people at every step of their cancer journey, and has a dedicated COVID-19 page on their website which has trusted, factual information and advice to all those living with a cancer diagnosis. They have also created a page designed to help everyone stay healthy at home, both mentally and physically during this time of social isolation. For those working from home, the Foundation has adapted its Corporate Wellness Workshops to now run online, bringing lifesaving information about early detection and cancer prevention to employees from the safety of their own homes. Generic or bespoke presentations can be delivered by their nurses via webinar to help you and your colleagues stay healthy and reduce your risk of cancer while staying home.
