February 14, 2018 marked the 20th anniversary of publication of the World Socialist Web Site. In these 20 years, we have published more than 66,000 articles in 22 languages covering the all world's major political, cultural, and scientific developments. In doing so, the WSWS has laid the basis for the rebirth of a modern socialist movement.

The success of the WSWS has depended entirely on the support of its readers. We have never charged for access to material and have not relied on commercial advertisements. We have no billionaire backers or corporate sponsors.
