Dear John,

We never imagined in 1999 when Litquake kicked off its first one-day festival in Golden Gate Park that we’d be here 25 years later… bigger, better, stronger, more diverse, reaching readers and writers from kindergarten through elders. You make Litquake happen. Keep it vibrant with a gift today!

We have big plans for 2024, our 25th Litquake. Over 125 events, 500+ writers, partnerships with more than 100 collaborators and venues, 100+ writing classes for seniors, and 3,000 grade school kids seeing authors who look like them and imagining future possibilities.

But mostly we have what we’ve always had: people coming together to share their words, their visions, their hopes. We are a stronger community when we celebrate the diversity of voices within our community and allow ourselves to dream and create the realities we desire.
We asked what Litquake means to YOU personally, and we received responses in the thousands:
Make your voice heard. Support Litquake to bring the arts to the Bay and the soul to the City in true Litquake style…accessible, stimulating, thought-provoking, off-beat, and fun.
