While COVID-19 deaths surpassed 60,000 and infections surpassed 1 million, a CDC analysis found fatalities "are likely to continue to rise in the coming weeks" if restrictions aren't strongly maintained, but projections are uncertain and depend on whether states incorporate "strong contact reduction" measures.

Manufacturers not only need to properly support and ensure safety for workers who are still reporting to factories during the coronavirus pandemic, they also need to give them a sense of purpose, writes SAP America executive Lloyd Adams. He recommends "distributing productivity reports, sharing positive feedback from customers or even highlighting media coverage that details the results of their efforts."
