How to take epic photos out of the plane window?

Capturing a photo or two might be on your mind during flights. However, the plane settings pose a few challenges for the eager photographer. We give you three tips for getting the best shot from the plane.

The first one is the seat of course. From the window seat you have the opportunity to observe the wonders of earth from the sky. The second tip concerns the window itself. When there is a small gap between the camera and the glass, image automatically sharpens to the beautiful landscape outside. 

Keep in mind that sometimes the scenes out of plane windows seem quite spectacular to the eye but when you look at your photos they can be a little "empty" or un-inspirational. Look for a point of interest to bring your shot to life. It might be the wing or engine of the plane, it could be another plane, a cloud formation, a coastline, a change in the landscape below or a setting sun. It could even be something inside the plane. So the third tip is: just use our imagination!
