Good evening,

Good evening,

Cue the rush to Christmas! It'll be a frantic week for dealmakers.

Alarcon, Liberty Financial and Fantastic Furniture will seek to price and secure their IPOs in the next few days, while there are a bunch of M&A auctions also coming to a head.

There's also a bunch of meaty refinancings in the market, including a whopper deal for Justin Hemmes' Merivale.

Elsewhere, Street Talk has the new investor in Archer Capital's data registries business illion and we look at who's charged with clearing the breakdown at NZ Rugby.

And we run the rule over BlueScope Steel as a private equity candidate - while private equity firms do the same.

Happy reading,

Sarah Thompson, Anthony Macdonald and Tim Boyd
