Here are 15 bills to follow in the Legislature's crime session

Confused about the special Legislative session on crime? Issues before the lawmakers range from eliminating parole for most inmates to expanding methods for death penalty executions.

Here are 15 bills to follow.


Louisiana has good conditions for growing food, but not enough farmers to actually do the growing.

There's a free program to help: Grow Louisiana, which trains dedicated and budding farmers.

Baton Rouge officials speculate there could be $1 billion worth of investment in Baton Rouge's entertainment venues along with new hotels and transit upgrades. The trick is to avoid having a renovated River Center and a new PMAC competing with each other for concerts and events.
