New data released by the Scottish Government today breaks down the number of positive coronavirus cases in each area of Scotland.

The latest figures show the highest numbers recorded of positive cases across each area, listed in ascending order, in the last week.

Here is the list of 12 areas of Scotiland with the most Covid-19 cases. Is your area amongst them?

 

Over 500 new cases confirmed in Scotland over last 24 hours

A further 543 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Scotland and, tragically, a further 35 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The 35 additional deaths recorded in the last 24 hours bring the death toll in the country to 7,371 according to the National Records of Scotland.

Here is a breakdown of which areas of the country having recorded the most cases in the last 24 hours.
