I was sitting outside in the sun recently and I noticed that a spot on my skin looked different than it normally does. In that moment, it struck me that I hadn’t been to a dermatologist in a really long time. I panicked and quickly scheduled a visit.
If you’re like me, you probably avoided going to specialists or even your primary care doctor because of the pandemic. But now it’s time to stop delaying checkups, especially if you’re vaccinated. So what appointments or health screenings should you tackle first? This week, reporter Nicole Pajer shared the things you should do ASAP if you haven’t been to a doctor in a while.
