What Might Be in the Year-End Tax Package
 
After almost every election cycle, there is some type of year-end tax package. This year is likely to be no different. Sometimes it is simply passing expiring tax extenders. Other times, there is more tax meat on the bone. Paul Neiffer reviews the items being discussed in Congress right now.
 
 

Phase 2 of the Emergency Relief Program is targeted to those who suffered losses in 2020 and 2021 but might not have received any payments under Phase 1 for losses in allowable gross revenue for traditionally insurable crops and specialty crops intended to be commercially marketed.

 
 

This rate hike was the sixth increase this year, and based on Fed chairman Jerome Powell’s comments following the November meeting, this interest rate rocket ship will continue to gain altitude.
