XAI Toolsheet: A Documentation Framework for Explainable AI Tools In this lighting talk session, we want to discuss the current XAI tools landscape, highlight gaps and research opportunities and provide an overview of the consequences of the use, misuse, and disuse of XAI tools.

Beyond the Questionnaire: An Algorithmic Impact Assessment Hackathon Explore the affordances and possibilities of AI systems beyond the narrow bureaucratic process it was initially designed for, expanding the definitions of both who and what counts in algorithmic impact assessment. We will consider how this tool might be repurposed and recoded to empower communities and broaden the definition of what constitutes an "impact of AI." 

AI Incident Investigations Join the people behind the AI Incident Database who will lead an investigation process on several AI incidents to help understand what happened, why it happened, and what could be done to prevent its recurrence.

Prototyping Algorithmic Contestability for Large Language Models Join this workshop and leave inspired to think critically about your interactions with AI and learn how to find opportunities to support or directly engage in community-driven collective action, including evaluation and contestability of AI models more broadly.
