NATIONAL: Event interpretation company Interprefy has launched new live captioning abilities for multilingual meetings and conferences. Complementing Interprefy's sign language offering, Interprefy Captions are available in 31 languages and have been designed as a visual aid for users to follow speech through translated subtitles, with real-time interpretation from professional conference interpreters transcribed into live captions using AI-powered Automated Speech Recognition technology. The iHeart Radio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One is officially returning this year. The event will be broadcast as a network television special on Dec. 15 on The CW. Some highlighted performers include Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Jonas Brothers, Lil Nas X and more. The tour will have 13 different stops around the U.S., and tickets go on sale to the public on Oct. 8. ATLANTA: The Westin Atlanta Airport has completed a full renovation to its 500 guest rooms. The property, a popular spot for groups and business travelers, has 22,290 square feet of event space spread across 26 rooms. The newly redesigned grand ballroom holds 800 people. LOS ANGELES: Halle Berry, Anthony Anderson, Jennifer Hudson, Berry Jenkins and more will be honored at the Critics Choice Association’s fourth annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television, taking place on Dec. 6 at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel. The event, which honors standout achievements in Black filmmaking and television in 20 award categories, is being produced by Madelyn Hammond & Associates along with event production agency Swisher Productions. MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Four Seasons Hotel Miami will host Daisuke Nakazawa and Alessandro Borgognone of Sushi Nakazawa for a reiteration of the team’s critically acclaimed omakase destination, popping up at the hotel from Oct. 7 to Nov. 13. Taking over the hotel’s glass-walled gallery space 14 Thirty-Five, the dining experience will be a 19-course omakase led by executive chef Wei Chen.
