Many of Montgomery County’s 80 hotels refreshed their inventory for meeting planners to explore. The Alloy King of Prussia – a Doubletree Hotel completed a $19 million renovation. The Crowne Plaza King of Prussia completed a full refresh. The Marriott Philadelphia West recently refreshed all its meeting spaces.

NATIONAL: Global virtual events platform Hubilo has announced $125 million in Series B funding from Alkeon Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Balderton Capital. This brings the rapidly growing event company’s funding to $153 million in less than 18 months. The investment will allow Hubilo to develop new business functions and platform advancements, as well as set up new sales offices in key regions.

The annual “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” show put on by MRC Live & Alternative and ABC will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Dec. 31. Airing live on ABC, the celebration will feature the event's first-ever Spanish language countdown, with Puerto Rico as the inaugural host destination.

LOS ANGELES: iHeart Media announced its lineup for its fifth annual iHeart Radio Alter Ego, presented by Capital One. Some of the biggest names in alternative music will come together on Jan. 15 at the Forum. Highlighted performers include All Time Low, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Twenty One Pilots and more. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Oct. 22.

NEW YORK: The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is returning for its 20th year on Oct. 29. The village is free to enter, and it will be open until March 6, 2022. The skating rink will be open and guests can book rentals online. About 170 new and returning shops will be there, and Bank of America is spotlighting small businesses this year.

WASHINGTON, DC: Events DC and No Kings Collective are hosting the first annual Asian-inspired street festival featuring dozens of D.C.-area vendors. The REDEYE Night Market will open on Nov. 6 and occupy four blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue from Third through Seventh Streets. Attendees can enjoy cultural and musical performances, plus free admission with food and beverages available for purchase.
