BETHESDA, MD.: Ridgewells Catering, one of the region’s largest and most celebrated caterers, has announced the grand opening of its newly renovated Bethesda headquarters. The fully modernized facility features conference rooms and gathering spaces have been named for Ridgewells employees who have passed away in recent years. Ridgewells has been headquartered in Bethesda since the 1970s and worked closely with the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation to bring the project to fruition.

COLUMBUS, OHIO: PCMA has announced that Academy Award-winning actor, producer, and philanthropist Viola Davis will be a closing-day speaker for Convening Leaders 2023 participants. Davis will share the humble journey that led to her revered career and give insight into how PCMA’s global community can illuminate the narratives of the voiceless. Convening Leaders 2023 takes place in Columbus, Ohio at the Greater Columbus Convention Center Jan. 8-11, 2023. Registration is currently open.

NEW YORK: Hilton has appointed Thom Casks as the general manager of the Hilton New York Times Square. Caska joined Hilton in 2014, and brings years of experience to the 478-key hotel, having worked with the brand for nearly a decade and previously serving as the studio general manager of Theatre Row Studios, assisting in the renovation of the off-Broadway theater complex.

WASHINGTON, D.C.: The Henri will host an exclusive New Year’s Eve dinner featuring a pre-fixe menu by chef Frederik De Pue. The multi-course menu—which will run attendees $135 per person—will be available for one night only on Dec. 31. The menu will include a variety of hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, entrees, and desserts for every taste, as well as a full bar.

InterContinental Washington, D.C. - The Wharf has appointed Tiffany Rioux as its director of sales and marketing. Rioux brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to the role, where she will oversee the luxury waterfront hotel’s overall sales, marketing, and public relations efforts.
