NATIONAL: Riot Games has announced that the 2022 edition of the League of Legends World Championship will take place in New York, Toronto, Mexico City and San Francisco. The brand’s first-ever multicountry tour of its annual esports competition will be the first to take place in North America since 2016. The 2021 edition wrapped up earlier this month in Reykjavk, Iceland; the monthlong tournament featured no fans in attendance.

DALLAS/FORT WORTH: The Dallas Holiday Parade will be held downtown on Dec. 4 starting at 10 a.m. Highlights include floats and large balloons, marching bands, dance teams, several costumed characters and Santa. Admission is free, but bleacher seating is available to purchase for $25.

NEW YORK: 24 Hour Plays recently announced that it will host its 21st annual The 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala on Dec. 11. The event will feature plays, musicals and monologues—all written, rehearsed and performed in just 24 hours. There will be tickets to join in-person watch parties in New York and Los Angeles, or guests can purchase a ticket to watch a livestream.

PALM BEACH, FLA: The 14th annual Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival runs from Dec. 9-12. The four-day lineup of 25 celebrity chef-led events has two new additions this year: a dinner at Tropical Smokehouse with chefs Larry and Marc Forgione, plus "Bubbles & Bites: A Yacht Rock Experience at PGA National Resort." Tickets are available now.

WASHINGTON, DC: Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington will host DC Cocktail Week from Nov. 29 to Dec. 5. The event celebrates local cocktail culture at more than 50 restaurants across the metropolitan region, offering food and drink pairings for one set price. Additional special events throughout the week include cocktail-making classes, dinners and a date-night package.
