Dear John,

Still haven’t registered yet for the 2020 ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit? I need you there to be part of our amazing community. I’m expecting 250 prostate cancer advocates to join our united mission to end prostate cancer. It is exciting to think of the impact and connections we can make together.

I know it can be scary going to an event without knowing very many people there! Let me introduce you to a few friendly faces you’ll meet at this year’s Summit.

These ZERO Champions are patients, survivors, and advocates. But most importantly, they’re just like you — they’re committed to fighting this disease too. And, some are looking to expand their education skillset by joining the first-ever Education Track at the 2020 Summit.

Vivian & John Avery, Kansas City The Averys are passionate about growing and supporting anyone affected by prostate cancer. Vivian often contacts new attendees to welcome them because, in her own words, "I want to help not only my family, but other families get through this. They shouldn’t have to suffer...Education is the key."

Charley Sweeney, Rhode Island Charley looks forward to spending time with his friends in the ZERO community that he's met through the Summit, learning about what's on the horizon for prostate cancer treatments, and connecting with new Summit attendees.

Dr. Mark Moyad, University of Michigan Dr. Mark Moyad will deliver a keynote speech to officially kick off the Summit’s track-based programming. His talk will especially complement those participating in the education track, which will focus on well-being during cancer.

I hope you’re able to meet these ZERO supporters at this year’s Summit! Who knows… maybe we’ll be featuring you in this email next year!
