Her 3-year-old was pointing toward the water, however - touching off an around-the-clock search that authorities on Friday said had little hope of finding Ellis alive.
SHOCKER: Thousands of New Orleans residents could see a $24 increase on their monthly power bills under a proposal that Entergy New Orleans says is needed to pay for upgrades to electricity and gas systems and to meet renewable energy goals. The utility filed its request Friday with the City Council.
