Hero paramedic dies from Covid-19

A hero Scottish Ambulance Service paramedic who returned to full-time frontline duties when coronavirus took hold has died.

Rod Moore died after testing positive with Covid-19, and tweeting about his experience with the virus.

East Lothian restrictions eased

While it's good news for East Lothian which is being moved from level 3 to level 2 restrictions, many will be disappointed with the Midlothian news.

The area will not be moving down to level 2 as it was previously hoped.

Latest Scotland Covid figures revealed

There have been 41 more deaths reported in the last 24 hours in connection with coronavirus in Scotland.

In the same time period, there have been 771 new confirmed cases of Covid-19.
