British Prime Minister Theresa May has reportedly agreed to let Chinese telecommunications equipment vendor Huawei Technologies play a role in the rollout of 5G networks in the UK.

Six additional companies, apart from Taiwan-based PC maker ASUS, were targeted by the ShadowHammer supply chain attack which was reported last month by the security firm Kaspersky Lab.

Spending on blockchain solutions in the Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan, are expected to reach nearly US$523.8 million this year, up 83.9% on the US$284.8 million in 2018, the analyst firm IDC claims.
